Rockies charity donates to Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County

FORT COLLINS — The Colorado Rockies Charity Fund will present a donation for $60,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County on Saturday during one of the team’s Rockies Caravan stops at the Colorado State University Stadium.

The Rockies Caravan will include current roster players Tyler Anderson, Mike Dunn, Tom Murphy, Trevor Story, along with Rockies television analyst Jeff Huson and members of the Rockies front office staff.

The Rockies support many nonprofits, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County and Metro Denver, Children’s Hospital Colorado, Denver Public Schools, and Special Olympics Colorado, according to a news release.

"We are honored to partner with the Colorado Rockies and Colorado State University," Kaycee Headrick, executive director of Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County, said in the release. "We live in amazing community that believes in giving back and supporting the youth who need our services."
